Inspired to Sire

Inspired to Sire

by Gideon Mutai
The other day I was inspired to sire
This is what transpired:
A robust classmate worked hard
And that makes us all glad
Not only in the field of betting,
But also in the field of getting
He got a bouncing baby boy

Oh, what a great joy!
He has already bought him a toy
And a house help ready to employ
Much about him and the next king of betting
Unlike him I am slim but my eyesight not dim

I am going to sire, yes, it is my desire
If need be I’ll also hire a house help
Not unless she will conspire against me
And my young home gets on fire
I will talk to my supplier to come with brier
And attire for the wedding day choir
I’ll also require a flyer to invite all
Since I am renowned high-flyer

Did I say I am tired of carrying them kids?
Since adolescence all through now
They are beckoning to be released
Can’t withstand the ever changing temperatures
Being escalated up and down intermittently
Enclosed in a small cage with no turnover
Their location is nondescript

What am I saying?
I am inspired to sire

Call me Crazy

By Gideon Mutai

You will call me crazy
Or even think I am lazy
But don’t forget my name is daisy
Thank God my vision is not hazy
To note your handsomeness
Indeed you are awesome
But just call me crazy daisy.

Your smile sends waves of ecstasy
Yes all the way down my spine
Talk of a surge of happy hormones
So in your pursuit I’ll not resign
And my request don’t decline
But your ear to me incline
In you my worries I’ll confine
And we will our hopes and goals combine
Even as our targets align
When the marriage certificate we’ll sign

How good is to love and to be loved?
And more so when that love is true
And every morning it is new
The common colour being blue
I think without much ado,
I’ll clear my throat and utter “Yes, I do”
I know this sounds weird
But just call me crazy daisy

The impossible with Him it is
He has done great to the family of Liz
We are not an exception
Remember this is not a misconception
Or perhaps a bad perception
Begin thinking of where we’ll have reception
As you stop calling me crazy daisy
And call me sweetheart and darling and dear and…

Patience was walking down the road
When he run into Time
The daughter of Perseverance
As eyes have no curtains,
Feelings no boundaries,
And thoughts no limits,
Patience admired Time
He fell in love with her
And thought of marrying her
The two merged together
After Time taking Patience’s proposal
As expected of every family
They begot children
Improvement was their first born
Second were twins, Joy and Happiness
Their last born was Victory a.k.a Triumph
They established an ever happy home!

A Sad Ending

by Gideon Mutai

For several times he stayed alone

Ill relationships he could not condone

Many at times he went on his knees

I know someone somewhere is saying geez

He did that for the reason of true love

That in seasons unknown would be a glove

In many relations he could not last

Who knows maybe he was not of their class?

But truth be said he was caring enough

As through the ups and downs he remained tough

Some said he was too churchy in quotes

In that I’ll not want to take votes

To me he confided his secrets dark

For that I want to make a remark

Many ladies were nice to him

And to impress, his beard he would trim

One problem I need to mention

He had what doctors call hypertension

“It is over between us from today”

He got from flowers present a bouquet

‘Twas on that fateful day he collapsed

Two minutes only had lapsed

To hospital he was quickly rushed

But from his brain the blood had gushed

What happened next is now history

To them who heard it appeared a mystery

And to me his best friend I still mourn

For I have rays of hope not forlorn

That someday we will meet again

When He’ll come back with the clouds, Amen.

Magic of Love

By Gideon Mutai

Love is indeed humble as a dove

That made Him come from above

That made Him hung on the cross

To make me utterly free from dross

Love makes life complete

That I don’t need to repeat

People have died for the sake thereof

He from above and Valentine below

Valentine’s Day it has come to be

I know you may not come to agree

But it speaks of love volumes

Just seen by people wear costumes

History I may not be good at

But for someone put off your hat

And show love to the unlovable

Even those loving back not capable

Here is the conclusion of the matter

Your resources you may scatter

But love fail to portray its picture

And only end up with stricture

I would have loved to write another stanza

But I’ll run late for the extravaganza

Until next time take care of yourself

And your bad habits put on the shelf

Am not Gonna Do It

By Gideon Mutai

Today he came in without a knock
I rem well ’twasn’t time for the clock
And had forgotten to lock the door
But I could not do it anymore
I didn’t care if I was to lose my job
In just giving him a blowjob

Today she sent me to the river
I rem I was about to deliver
And no break had I known before
But I could not do it anymore
Always playing the donkey’s role
Hey! I care today for my soul

Today he gave me another buff
Or else I would face it rough
Do I say I wasn’t going to do it?
Indeed I was tired if am to admit
I was a slave then if I may say
Surely I had gone far astray

Today she decided in her heart
From addictions she must depart
Master-abation she has been doing
While feelings of guilt kept accruing
She was not gonna do it again
And all who hear say a big Amen

Today she made many resolutions
In a bid to make life substitutions
Little did she involve Mighty Father
To you it might not be a bother
But to her it meant a relapse
The thought of it made her collapse

Today she woke up to jot it down
When not one soul was around
Atop she crowned with a prayer
And resolved not to ever despair
For her Mighty God would answer
And removed away would be her cancer
